Tonight was our last night of visiting with the in-laws. It was bitter sweet. We had lots of fun, and the boys loved hanging out (and getting super spoiled) with Gramma Daisy and Poppa Don. We did lots of fun things together, but also had a blast just hanging out at the house and being together.
Today was the busiest day of the week, by far. We met up for lunch (I had to wait around for the UPS guy to deliver my Avon packages) at the Royal Fork. Right afterwards, we headed to the zoo and, right after that, went over to Catfish Bay to watch what truly was, "the greatest show on H2O". (Click the words to check the link out).
We also hit the Turner County Fair this week, as well. Why not the Sioux Empire Fair, you ask. because I worked the Avon table last week and, while there, noted that the prices were freaking out of control. I found this adorable and old fashioned fair online and, since it was only 30 minutes away, we went. It was loads of fun, though Brady had a tough time enjoying it, at first, he got into it after we visited Old MacDonald's Farm. It was free to get in, and the wristbands were cheap. Half of the park was dedicated to rides my kids could ride on, so it was a good decision all around.
Now that they are gone, I have some major catch up to do with the house, mostly my office, since I have been half assed working my Avon all week and let things pile up big time. This weekend is dedicated to laundry, the office, getting orders and books out, and getting the kids back on schedule. Oh, and I start my new job at Lewis tomorrow, too. So, busy, busy.
I do have pictures, but blogger is being a PITA and not uploading them. Look for those soon.
