But, I knew! And, since you are crying buckets over having missed it, let me show you what it looked like:

Ok, here is the moon. It was dang bright that night! These were taken at about 2 AM, so the moon was high in the sky and a bit of a pain to take. Thank God for trucks, 4 wheel drive, and a sleeping neighbor. Oh yeah, and a zoom lens. I heart my zoom lens.

I warned you this would be random. (Read the title, that's your warning).

Many of you have asked why, oh why, I hate Winter so. Well, it is simple, really. I am not a cold weather girl. I hate to be cold. I hate not being able to feel my fingertips as I type this because, even with the thermostat set at 72, my basement is still frigid. And we have insulation, good windows and all that jazz. It is just friggen cold. And I hate it. To give you an idea of this past week's weather, today we had a high of 35 above zero. Today was the first day in about 8 days that it has been above zero. The coldest day was 39 below zero. It sucks. The wind sucks (well, it blows, actually), and the snow sucks (huh, that blows here, too). Here is what my backyard looked like:

Mind you, this is a 16' x 32' sandbox that is 2 feet deep and holds well over 3 tons of sand. Do you love our beautiful sandbox?



And here is what it looked like during the most recent blizzard. Oh yeah, that white space at the end of the trees? There is a HUGE school in there. They had school that day. On the day it was 12 below and clear, no school. But on THIS day, there was school. Friggen geniuses, I tell ya. Oh, and all that white? That's snow. Not fog, not clouds (no mountains here, guys), and definitely not a bad photo! Nope, it's snow. And LOTS of it.

Ok, enough randomness for today. Remind me to get you the pictures of my birthday boy. OH! And the ones of an impromptu photo shoot after I had about $500 worth of equipment (thank you, AVON) delivered this week. I am like a kid in a candy store and have to try everything right away. So, yeah, remind me about those.
