Dorothy Watch 2008

Bryce's prayers are working. The poor kiddo wants his fishie to live so bad! Because I really don't want his heart broken, I have been adding my own prayers to his. And, I think it worked. She is now up from the bottom of the tank and is swimming around, playing with Spongebob and generally seems to be feeling better. She looks like hell, as her tail is gone and she has a weird skin over her scales, but, for the most part, seems to be feeling better. My dad thinks she has a fungus, so we are off to Petco today to get some medicine for her, and to make sure Spongebob doesn't get it, as well. So, keep your fingers crossed for us!
We had quite a productive weekend this weekend. Lots of house cleaning and yard clean up. Good thing the used kibble got picked up in the yard, as we got about 4 inches of snow last night. Feels like a St. Patty's day in Butte, rather than somewhere much farther south. Speaking of Butte, it is funny when I mention the St. Patrick's celebrations to people who have never heard of Butte. They are floored that people get so crazy over a leprechaun. Once I explain that a town of drunks has an actual excuse to get even drunker, they understand a bit more, but still not completely. I never understood it, either, which is probably why I never attended a Butte St. Patrick's day celebration in the 6 years we lived there. I mean, why fight a never ending, drunken, and obnoxious crowd over getting out of town to do some shopping?
But, enough about Butte. The boys and I are headed to town today for some groceries and I am hoping to be able to stop by Shoe Carnival for some new shoes for my new job. We'll see if i have time before we have to be back home for Brady's speech therapy. I hope we do, since I start tomorrow (yippee!). I am excited to start getting the discount. I was looking through Target's ad this week, and I have some serious shopping to do and the discount will make my gift card go even that much further!
