So far, this week . . .

Omaha was AWESOME! We started at the Nebraska Furniture Mart which, I swear, is the biggest freaking furniture store int he world! The place has anything and everything you could ever dream of wanting or needing for your home and entertainment! We found a daybed and trundle for my guestroom at a steal, and I am excited to get some mattresses for it and finish decorating that room, so then we can have some guests! Start beating the doors down now, folks!

After shopping the afternoon away, we went to visit some very old and dear friends that we haven't seen in years. We had so much fun visiting with Mike, Beth, Jennifer, and Christopher. It was like old times when we were kids. Except now, we have our own children to send off to play while the adults stayed upstairs to chat and discuss current happenings and good memories. Beth made an awesome dinner and dessert and the evening slipped away too quickly. Next time, we are definitely spending the night, just LIKE old times!

Brady started his speech therapy yesterday and it went well. He has never signed continuously for me, but the lil stinker did great for the therapist! Last night, I kept the signing up, and he did really well. I am hoping he keeps it up and eventually replaces the signs with verbal words. Either way, at least he is communicating more!

Today has been a BEAUTIFUL day! It has been int he 40's all day. The kids decided to skip playgroup this morning and opted for a morning of shopping. So, shopping we went. I got more curtains to finish off the living room, and then we went for some lunch and groceries. Now, they are napping peacefully and, when they wake, I am surprising them with a walk to our favorite park!
