Whew! May flew right by me. It was a crazy busy month in the beginning, and slowed to an almost halt while the kids were sick. This past week, we were back to our regular schedule of play dates and park days. This weekend we spent at the Ribfest/Kidzfest in town and it was super fun with lots of good eats. Plus, it had a Fair like air about it, but the rides were free. The kids had a blast jumping in all of the blow up jumping things, running around the fair grounds, and watching a magician and getting free balloon animals.
After Kidzfest today, we went over to the spray park. Since it has been in the 80's all weekend, we thought it would be a nice way to cool off. Pioneer Park is a water park that has about a hundred sprinklers and water attractions that kids can play in . . . and, it's free! (Talk about a cheap weekend, lol). The kids had a blast, and after a couple of hours there, we took them out to dinner at their favorite - Culver's. (Ok, it is my favorite, too. But, what can I say? They have awesome burgers and the best frozen custard every!) We finished the day off at the park behind our house, to make sure they were good and exhausted. Of course, you would think with no nap and running them ragged all day, they would be sound asleep by now. But, it is 10 o'clock and the little stinkers are still awake! (I have seriously got to get their TV fixed!)
Tomorrow, we have a play date scheduled, Brady has speech therapy, and then I am off to deliver more Avon books and a last minute order. I know I have said this before, but I am really enjoying selling Avon. It is lots of fun and I get to meet so many nice people! (If you want to check out my online site to order some new products, check it out at www.youravon.com/kkwiecinski.)
