Thanks to all of those prayers I know each and every one of you were muttering for me last night and today, the boys and I had a great day! AND, they were super awesome all day.
Maybe seeing mommy break open the alcohol before bed time was a clue? Hmmm, maybe a tactic I will continue to use.
So, we got up and cleaned up the house. The boys even cleaned the playroom together WITHOUT me having to go in there 500 times threatening to make some children who have nothing in the community very happy with toy donations. (I need to come up with another threat, though, before my kids start to have phobias of poor kids they have never met). Afterwards, we headed over to the school to play on the playground until lunch. They even laid down for naps without argument! And, they slept for 2 hours, so I got lots of Avon stuff done.
When they woke up, they had a snack and juice and we headed to the pool at three. I was shocked when the pool announced they were closing for the evening break and would re-open at 630. Usually, the kids get so wild at the pool, we end up leaving after an hour or so. BUT, not today! We were there for 2 and a half hours (and would have been longer, except the closed).
When we got home, the boys played in the sprinkler while I made dinner. After dinner, Trav took them back to the pool and then for ice cream while I delivered books and orders. They were sound asleep when I got home at 9.
